Western Blacktown Presbyterian Church

Growing followers of Jesus

Sunday Services

At Western Blacktown, we have one service at 10:00 am each week and people of all ages and backgrounds are very welcome to join us.

We aim for a relaxed and informal atmosphere as we worship God.  The service includes singing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs; prayer; a talk based on a passage from the Bible; announcements; a children’s talk, and a children’s song … in which the whole congregation chimes in!
Children are included in the first half of the service, and then they move on to ‘Kid’s Church’ (ie Sunday School), during the second half.
We also have morning tea in the middle of our service so that people can get together and enjoy one another.

Sometimes we have guest speakers, who might give a presentation about their particular ministry, or they might present the sermon … or we might just interview them.

Crèche: is available for the younger children in one of the classrooms.

Disability Access: We meet in a school hall, so there are no access problems for those with wheelchairs, or those with limited movement

Giving: Please note that we do not have a ‘collection’ during service.  For our views on ‘giving’, please click here.

Our Aim: To be a welcoming, Bible-based, and Christ-centred church; so please feel free to come along and check us out.
